As the year comes to a close, I always like to reflect on the year in music. I find that we start seeing trends begin and artists career's start to take off. Nonetheless, let's count down the top 10 songs of 2012. While she has either broken or set nearly every record in the business, Taylor Swift deserves to be at the top of the charts with this years #10 'We Are Never, Ever Getting Back Together.'

The song 'We Are Never, Ever getting Back Together' was released as the lead single from Taylor's fourth studio album 'Red.' The single was recently crowned as the second best song of 2012 by the folks at Rolling Stone magazine and was rated as the fourth biggest song of the year by TIME magazine. It also received a Grammy nomination for 'Record of the Year.'

She was born and raised in Pennsylvania then moved to Nashville, Tennessee at age fourteen to start working on her musical career. Taylor has become the single most successful teen idol in country music history. She's also sold more music in one month than most country stars sell in their careers. I believe that Taylor Swift has helped boost the numbers, as far as the 'digital world' is concerned.
