2012 Daylight Savings Time Ends Sunday November 4th at 2 a.m.

For most Americans, Daylight Savings Time ends this Sunday, November 4th, at 2 a.m. as we adjust our clocks back 1 hour to Standard Time. States like Arizona and Hawaii don’t have to adjust their clocks each year since the federal government doesn’t require states and territories to observe Daylight Savings Time.
Many times Daylight Savings Time and Standard Time confuse people as many of us forget when we go forward an hour and when we go back an hour. Best rule of thumb is to remember the old saying “spring forward, fall back”. Annually, Daylight Savings Time begins in the Spring and ends in the Fall.
So, with all that being said…don’t forget to set your alarm clocks, microwaves, ovens, watches, and sometimes phones back an hour before you go to sleep this Saturday night. The reason I say ‘some phones’ is because many devices automatically adjust based on network settings.
Enjoy that extra hour of sleep.
