Surprise! It seems after completely dominating the Emmys, Showtime's 'Homeland' is set to dominate the 2013 Golden Globes as well. Its first major award of the night, and sure not to be its last, Damian Lewis of 'Homeland' has been awarded the 2013 Golden Globe for Best Actor in A TV Series, Drama, for his portrayal of Sergeant Nicholas Brody. If you thought 'Homeland's winning streak was over, think again. Even though the show's second season may have divided viewers a bit more intensely than the first, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has awarded lead actor Damian Lewis with the 2013 Golden Globe for Best Actor in A TV Series, Drama.

An impressively-nominated category, Lewis beat out such stars as Steve Buscemi of 'Boardwalk Empire,' Bryan Cranston of AMC's 'Breaking Bad,' Jeff Daniels of HBO's 'The Newsroom,' and Jon Hamm of 'Mad Men.' This is Lewis' third nomination for a Golden Globe, previously nominated for HBO's 'Band of Brothers'
