As the year comes to a close, I always like to reflect on the year in music. This is a best of the best list, this is the 'cream that rose to the top'. Will names like Strait or Chesney make it on this list? I'm not wasting anymore time, let's count down the top 10 songs of 2012. At the start of this year if I had said Luke Bryan to you, you might have said "who?" But Luke Bryan has been around he's paid his dues. He comes in at #8 in the Top 10 of 2012.

The song 'Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye' was originally written by  Luke Bryan and friends Jeff Stevens (formerly of Jeff Stevens and the Bullets) and singer songwriter Shane McAnally. It was released in August 2012 as his fourth single from his album, Tailgates and Tan Lines, the song went to #1 on the country charts.

Luke Bryan began his career in the music business around 2005. He began writing songs for country stars like Travis Tritt and Billy Currington. When Luke signed with Capitol Records in 2007, he released singles 'All My Friends Say', 'We Rode in Trucks' and 'Country Man'. I believe Luke Bryan deserves a spot in this years top 10 songs of 2012.
