Country-rocker Aaron Lewis missed Saturday night’s (Sept. 20) scheduled concert in Tulsa, Okla. after a plane he was a passenger in veered off the runway in Warton, Texas.

Lewis was onboard a private Cessna Citation V around 1PM Saturday afternoon when an unspecified error pushed the aircraft into the mud alongside the runway. The flight was ultimately canceled. The Staind singer was leaving the Lone Star State after filming an episode of his reality show, ‘On the Road.’

“I’m so glad we are safe,” Lewis says. “However, I am really sorry that the fans in Tulsa were disappointed and let down with me not making tonight’s show. I promise I’ll be back to Tulsa soon.’

Chase Bryant, Brian Davis and Brantley Gilbert were others scheduled for the show at the BOK Center. Lewis' next scheduled stop on the Let It Ride Tour is Sept. 26 in University Park, Pa.
