West Texas native Aaron Watson's new single 'July in Cheyenne' is a wonderful tribute to champion bull rider Lane Frost. The Honky Tonk Kid absolutely nailed this heartfelt dedication to a star of the sport who left us too soon. Now, there's a video to go with the song.

The video for 'July in Cheyenne' is simple and sweet. Watson sitting in a dark bull riding arena with only his guitar and two projection screens rolling a photo montage of Lane Frost. Check it out:

Frost died from injuries sustained bull riding in 1989, at age 25. His life was the inspiration behind the feature film '8 Seconds' starring Luke Perry. But more importantly to the sport he loved, Lane Frost's death resulted in the creation of protective vests for bull riders, which are worn throughout the sport today.
