Now that both ‘Community‘ and ‘Fringe‘ have been officially saved for cancellation, it feels like most TV-goers can breathe actual sighs of relief, few other series coming so close to the bubble.  Still, after NBC and FOX‘s laundry list of pickups, things have been curiously quiet on the front of ABC.  ABC maintains less bubble series to be sure, but how much longer until we can expect relief?  No longer!

In anticipation of its Upfront event, ABC has given (and continues to give) renewals to most of its major line-up, a large portion of them no-brainers for pickup.  Deadline reports on the drama side, long-running hits ‘Castle‘ and ‘Grey’s Anatomy‘ will of course be back, alongside ABC’s breakout hit ‘Once Upon a Time‘ and fellow newcomer ‘Revenge.’  ‘Grey’s’ spin-off ‘Private Practice’ seems a likely candidate for a 13-episode pickup, though somewhat unclear is the fate of ‘Private Practice’ and ‘GCB‘, while new drama ‘Scandal‘ seems promising.

On the comedy side of things, you need to be smacked with a boom mic if you thought ‘Modern Family‘ wouldn’t be renewed, as well ‘Suburgatory’ and ‘The Middle’ have received orders.  Currently, we’re still waiting on Tim Allen’s ‘Last Man Standing,’ newcomer ‘Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23,’ and the critically-acclaimed ‘Happy Endings,’ though all renewals are expected.  Don’t expect ‘Cougar Town‘ to receive an order however, having just recently closed a deal to move to TBS!

Don’t worry, we wouldn’t leave you reality fans out in cold!  ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ ‘The Bachelor,’ and ‘Shark Tank’ will all return next season as well.  Whoopity doo!

More news is expected before next week, but what say you?  Were your favorite ABC shows renewed, or have we not given enough credit to some of it’s on-the-bubble offerings?  Tell us you biggest show priorities in the comments!
