The weather is getting cooler, fall is just around the corner and it's a perfect time to be outdoors with the family. What better way to spend an afternoon with the family than to take a bike ride. October 6th is National "take a kid mountain biking day". So get those tires aired up, grab your helmets and hit the trail.

The International Mountain Bicycling Association will hold this annual event for the 8th time this year and they encourage communities around the world to plan events and ride mountain bikes with kids. Abilene is doing their part again this year on October 6th.
