Abilene Police vs. Firefighters Rib Eating Contest Benefiting Children’s Miracle Network

It's a friendly war, especially if there is food and a charity involved, between the police and firefighters. This Saturday the two organizations will go head to head in a rib eating contest to benefit Children's Miracle Network.

This Saturday, June 13th at 4pm the forks will be lowered as fingers are wrapped around ribs in an eating showdown between our protectors. The Abilene Police will face off against the Abilene Firefighters to see who can eat the most in a given time.

Texas Roadhouse sponsors this event at many of it's restaurants each benefiting an organization of the the competitors choosing. This particular event will benefit our local Children's Miracle Network. Ten percent of sales from the evening will be donated to CMN.
