Abilene’s First Ever High Heel Dash to Benefit Children’s Miracle Network in Pictures

The first ever 'High Heel Dash' to benefit Children's Miracle Network (CMN) in Abilene this past Saturday (April 13th, 2013) was a lot of fun. All of the guys that ran in high heels were good sports about it, some even dressing the part. As for the ladies, many that raced brought their game faces and some even camped out by the starting line. Nonetheless, when the Mayor started the race, all eyes were fixed on every runner.

The big winners were:
1st place winner, Austin Fields took home $1000
2nd place winner, David Garst took home $500
3rd Place winner, Corey Voges took home $250

First place winner Austin Fields was so gracious that he donated half of his prize money back to the Children's Miracle Network. This was truly a fun event and if you missed it here's a way to relive the fun and laughter through pictures, enjoy.
