The 37th Annual Cactus Lions Club Spaghetti Supper is February 8th at Abilene High School
The 37th annual Cactus Lions Club and John Massey Memorial Spaghetti Supper will take place at the Abilene High School cafeteria. Cactus Lions Club members often brag about their secret spaghetti sauce recipe, Pete Beretta said “the real secret is in how I infuse the garlic butter onto the bread, being that I’m in charge of and the CEO of the BB&B or the bread buttering and browning”.

Tickets may be purchased in advance from any Cactus Lions Club member or at the door. Remember to leave room for desert, as many of the club members wives prepare and sell homemade deserts at an additional cost. Coffee, tea and water are included with the price of the meal. The spaghetti is all you can eat, so come hungry.
This is the Cactus Lions Club’s biggest fundraiser of the year, with all monies raised going directly to handicapped children of Abilene and West Texas and numerous other children’s charities. The Texas Lions Camp at Kerrville, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing, without charge, a summer camp for children with physical disabilities and Type 1 diabetes from the state of Texas regardless of race, religion or national origin.
