Does America Have Too Many Lawyers? — Survey of the Day
Lawyers have never been particularly popular with the general public, but just how unpopular is the profession exactly?
Rasmussen Reports asked 1,000 adults, “Are there too many lawyers in America or not enough?” Sixty percent of the survey’s respondents answered too many, 13 percent said not enough and 14 percent said there were just the right amount in attorneys in the United States.
Thirteen percent of the survey’s respondents refused to offer an opinion on the question, perhaps on advice from counsel.
