Art Walk Will Feature 8 HSU Students Artwork

The Center for Contemporary Arts hosts Art-Walk the second Thursday of every month, Art-Walk is free and open to the public. On many occasions the Center for Contemporary Arts, features the work of local artisans, at the March 8th Art-Walk, Roberts Studio will be hosting the art from eight Hardin Simmons University students. The upcoming exhibition is by art students Alx Dockter, William Wright, Sandra Deanda, Kayla Beall, Sarah Davidson, Lauren Jay, Alyssa Derrick, and Cesar Matera. The exhibition will be called, “Misconstructions,” utilizing several mediums, done by the eight seniors that are set to graduate May 2012.

 

The HSU student artists will be on hand during Art-Walk at Roberts Studio located on the 2nd floor at 1138 N. 2nd Street in downtown Abilene. The exhibit may be viewed Thursday from 5pm till 8pm.
