I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as quick as I could. I'm originally from Battle Creek, Michigan (home of Tony the Tiger). I've got two kids who take up most of my time out of the office, but when I get "me time", I'm either taking in some live music or a sporting event. Since relocating, I also fell in love with the Texas music scene. I've been lucky enough to be nominated for DJ of the Year 4 straight years by the Academy of Texas Music, and was the 2009 recipient of the Academy's Palmwood Award. I'm a huge sports fan, and my loyalties are with the Michigan Wolverines, Chicago White Sox and (sorry) the Pittsburgh Steelers.

At the Volvo World Match Play Championship in Bulgaria Saturday (5/18), one of golfer Nicolas Colsaert's tee shots proved that his golf game is, literally, in the toilet. One of his tee shots actually landed in a toilet to the left of the fairway. Embarrassing enough, but what followed was worse. Television viewers were treated to a lot of giggling like school children, and several puns from the c
Holly Tucker Talks About Receiving Praise From LeAnn Rimes on ‘The Voice After Show’
'The Voice Season 4' announced that Holly Tucker is a part of its Top 10 on live television. They made the singer with West Texas ties sweat it out, as her name was the 9th called, but I don't think Holly will complain. She was all smiles during the recording of 'The Voice After Show', which featured all of the NBC talent show's remaining contestants.

After Watching the Trailer for ‘Now You See Me’, Dave Believes it Will Be the Coolest Movie in Years
For a couple years now, I've felt there's been a drop in the quality of high profile movies. The "Must See" summer blockbusters have been less than amazing, in my opinion. I could blame California's hard economic times, or a lack of fresh ideas if you want. Whatever the case, it appears that the drought is over thanks to 'Now You See Me'.

Dave’s Facebook Joke About Getting a Tattoo Becomes a Social Experiment
As a rule, I tend to keep my humor at a "5" on the controversy scale of 1-10 on my social network pages. I do this because, I have several people on my 'friends list' who might not be ready for the full experience of my sense of humor. Well, the other day I decided to play a little joke on my Facebook friends by announcing how excited I was to be getting my first tattoo.
Despite Pop Success, Lady Antebellum Remain Loyal to Country Music Fans
There are several artists who cross the lines between country music and pop. Taylor Swift has polished what Shania Twain forged, and The Band Perry, Hunter Hayes and others have followed. There are other musicians, such as Kelly Clarkson and Darius Rucker, who have gone from pop music to country radio success. With trio Lady Antebellum's mainstream sound and song lyrics, it would be easy for them
