I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as quick as I could. I'm originally from Battle Creek, Michigan (home of Tony the Tiger). I've got two kids who take up most of my time out of the office, but when I get "me time", I'm either taking in some live music or a sporting event. Since relocating, I also fell in love with the Texas music scene. I've been lucky enough to be nominated for DJ of the Year 4 straight years by the Academy of Texas Music, and was the 2009 recipient of the Academy's Palmwood Award. I'm a huge sports fan, and my loyalties are with the Michigan Wolverines, Chicago White Sox and (sorry) the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Now, Brian now has high aspirations with his newest single release, "Easy To Say Goodbye".
‘Jack the Giant Slayer’ in 3D Reviewed By Nathan, My 13-Year Old Son
A movie's box office take tells us nothing about whether a kid would enjoy the movie. No child cares how much money a movie makes. When they go to watch a film, they just want to be entertained. So, I took my 13-year old son, Nathan to see 'Jack the Giant Slayer' in 3D and asked him to review it...
Rich O’Toole Kicks Back and Takes it Easy With ‘Messin’ Around’ – Song Review
Rich O'Toole's new single, 'Messin' Around' shows off something of a transformation for the Texas country singer. Known in the past for being a country music artist with a rock edge, it seems as though O'Toole has sanded down the rough side and has a new, smooth delivery.
Getting to Know Rudy ‘Fearless’ Fernandez – A Coworker’s Perspective
A few days ago, I was put on the spot and asked what I know about my coworker, Rudy 'Fearless' Fernandez. After only a few seconds to think about my answer, I stated the obvious. Everybody who has worked with Rudy for more than a few months knows that he is an extremely energetic person, a man who puts high priority on family and faith, and has a soft spot in his heart for children...
Being a White Sox, Red Wings and Michigan Sports Fan in Abilene is Challenging
It's easy to be a fan of the hometown team. I know, because until 2006 my son and I were lucky enough to have our favorite teams around our hometown of Battle Creek, Michigan showing on my TV regularly. And I would be able to go see a game in person from time to time. Now that I've moved to Abilene, I'm left out of the loop. I can't make a day trip to see my favorite teams anymore. Regional sports
JB and the Moonshine Band Have Another Hit With “The Only Drug” – Song Review
Clever lyrics and an easy-going delivery are generally what you can come to expect when you listen to a JB and the Moonshine Band song. A growing number of children are being diagnosed with autism and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The last figure I heard was that 1 out of 110 children is diagnosed with ASD. With more and more children being identified to have this neurological disorder, the need for additional research, education and other resources becomes more and more necessary. There are a lot of ways you can show support fo

NBC Thinks Trace Adkins Threatening Steven Baldwin is a Reason to Watch Celebrity Apprentice. I Beg to Differ
Watching TV has become strange for me lately. It seems as though the sparkle of all the programs I used to watch has worn off. Shows like 'American Idol', 'NCIS', 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition', the 30 different Law & Order shows and others have all become less important to me than they were a few years ago. The same hold true for 'The Apprentice'.
