It seems you can’t turn on the TV without seeing one poll or another that supposedly reflects the majority of Americans. Whether it’s TV viewing, eating, sleeping, internet or voting preferences (amongst many others) there’s a poll for everything. Stopping by the grocery store on the way home from work is as common as the wind in West Texas. You’d think I’d make a list and get everything I need for a week or two, but that never happens. While on my most recent trip to the store, I overheard a kid in the produce section telling his mom that she was stealing because she ate a grape without paying for it.
