The Texas League of Women Voters and our local Abilene Public Library are offering a free ‘Voters Guide’ to help voters make informed decisions. In the statewide race the guide will attempt to have the pertinent information for the primary races. These races include U. S. Senator, Railroad Commissioner, Texas Supreme Court, Civil and Criminal Appeals Courts and State Board of Education.

We were having a discussion today on what different acronyms mean, obviously T.G.I.F is the most popular and for the most part stands for “Thank God It’s Friday”, or “Thank Goodness It’s Friday”.
