Lt. Brian Brennan 101st Airborne US Army suffered a brain injury and lost both of his legs while three fellow soldiers lost their lives in a roadside bomb attack in Afghanistan. His doctors declared that Lt. Brennan would never recover and would remain in a deep comatose state for the rest of his life. That was until his boss Army Gen. David Petraeus showed up by his bedside and counted to three and said the word “Currahee”.
Twinkies, one of my favorite tasty treats, I was wondering how can you possibly make a Twinkie any better? Add chocolate that’s how. The “New Chocolate Twinkies” are out and obeying all speed limits, I drove as fast as I could to my local grocer to get a box of the heavenly delights. With all ten Twinkies in a box, present and accounted for I systematically started handing them out to everyone I knew was a fan of the little golden sponge cake delicacies. To my surprise, all but two of whom I shared my treats with did not care for them.
If you watched the Etta James funeral on television you saw the lines of who’s who in attendance. One of the attendees that sang during the funeral was Christina Aguilera and the song she sang was Miss Etta’s biggest hit to date, At Last”. If you ask me, I think she knocked a grand slam home run with her own rendition of At Last. You can even tell that all those in attendance agree as well giving Christina a standing ovation.

Brantley Gilbert, a high school graduate, with dreams and ambitions of being a country star and was attending Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville GA., where he was studying to become a relationship counselor. The main reason he dropped out of college and didn't finish getting his degree as a "relationship/marriage counselor" was because he busy touring and practicing his relationship counseling theories on unsuspecting couples at dance halls and concert venues all across the south. September 19, 2011 Brantley Gilbert is a well known name around most parts of Georgia. However, Brantley Gilbert is real well known around Nashville, the Jason Aldean home, and with most of today's country singers looking for a hit song to record. Gilbert is responsible for writing several songs that Jason Aldean has recorded, and the last two number one songs Aldean had were "Dirt Road Anthem" and "My Kinda Party" came from Brantley Gilbert's pen.
Recently, Gilbert let this little known jewel of a video out that has him and country rapper Colt Ford writing the song "Dirt Road Anthem" which went straight to the top of the charts recently and stayed there for more than four weeks, which is unheard of in today's fast moving charts. So if you have ever wanted to write your own hit song, study this video closely and take lots of notes. Brantley is one of country musics best singer and songwriters.

I started thinking about how would I stay cool if I didn't have A.C. at all. And I came up with a few thoughts. Kind of scary huh?

But he still had a big hurdle to over come. You see, Blake Shelton wanted Martina McBride to do the second vocals on the song. Blake didn't have the guts to ask Martina himself. So he relied on someone close to Miss McBride.
July 20, 2011 It what appears to be a cross between Jackass meets the Chuck Barris of the Gong Show. The show doesn't appear to me, to have any rhyme or reason. The show sees eight contestants compete to be the winner of a $50,000 prize by picking the right answers to general knowledge questions. Competitors who pick wrong answers are eliminated from the game in a variety of different ways, usually involving a large drop into a pool of water. It will get your adrenaline going when you see these everyday ordinary people being mauled by a pit-bull or jerked off a pier by a rather large anchor and submerged into a lake.
July 19, 2011 I learned something new today, how to do magic the US governments way. This was "my" initial impression. Here's the scoop, according to a new USDA (US Department of Agriculture) study and website finds that 10% of the country is now in what they labeled, a “food desert”, that's right like the Mojave or Sahara. The Food Desert Locator is an online map that shows areas through out the United States where, the USDA says, low-income families have little or no access to "healthy fresh foods."
But no need to fear because after the USDA discovered this, they show you how they took 10 million people off the "food desert" chart in a short period of time. They do it so well that magician Criss Angel might have missed the slight of hand.

Margaret Durante does have the upper hand in this project. She can write, songs of course but I mean she could pass for a journalist.
