Brantley Gilbert Plays a Moonshine Runner in His New Video “Bottoms Up”

Brantley Gilbert's new video "Bottoms Up" is set in the late 1920's and Brantley plays the role of a moonshine runner trying to stay one step ahead of the law. The video jumps from the '20's into the 21st century when Brantley and his crew enter the party house. I really like the transition from the old costumes and wooden kegs into today's modern day attire and aluminum kegs.

Rudy’s Favorite Ray Price Songs

With the passing of the legendary Ray Price, my thoughts go back to when I first heard a Ray Price song. It was at a school dance in 1975, the song came on and this was my chance to slow dance with a girl I had a crush on. I remember holding her and slowly swaying side to side to the silky smooth voice of Ray Price singing "For The Good Times". I became a Price fan for life and these are some of my favorite Ray Price song.

Kevin Fowler and Colt Ford got together to record a song titled "Hip Hop In A Honky Tonk". The songs subject matter deals with the issue of hip hop being music played in a honk tonk. Nonetheless the video is fun and funny, check it out.

Members of the Dixie Chicks Form New Band Court Yard Hounds

The Court Yard Hounds are basically the Dixie Chicks, minus their lead singer Natalie Maines. The folk sounding duo was the brainchild of sisters Martie Maguire and Emily Robison. The sisters decided to record their own project and for the first time, Emily Robison takes over lead vocals. For the record, I love the sound the Hounds have just unleashed in their new song "Sunshine". Check it out and tell me what you think.

When it comes to my deer hunting, I don't believe much surprises me anymore. The recent Ice storm left a pretty good sheet of ice on everything, so Sunday I broke up the ice on the sidewalk and our front porch, I then asked my daughter to just sweep it all clean. I Went inside for about 15 minutes and returned to discover my little princess ice skating on our driveway in her cowboy boots. She's truly a redneck.
