The little band that could from Denton, Texas has been making a big splash nationally the last couple of years. The Eli Young Band received some great news this morning from the Academy of Country Music and will appear on Jay Leno tonight.

The guys received 3 nominations from the ACM's today, including their 2nd nod for Vocal Group of the Year. The other two nominations were for their hit song "Even it Breaks Your Heart" in the Single Record and Song of the Year categories.

Just this past weekend the group was nominated for a Grammy in Best Country Performance by a Group or Duo for that song as well.

It's been a long road for the guys but this is beginning to be 'old hat' as last year they won the ACM for Song of the Year with "Crazy Girl". We wish them the best of luck this year too!

Not only are the guys riding a high on these fantastic nominations but they will also be appearing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno tonight as well.  The Tonight Show with Jay Leno airs locally at 10:35pm on NBC.

The ACM's will air April 7th at 7pm CT on CBS. For a list of all ACM nominees this year check the ACM website.
