Brenda Kay Performs at Outlaws and Legends Music Fest

Abilene was a buzz with activity this weekend, if you were within earshot of Abilene Speedway you would have heard the voices of many Texas music artists. As I began broadcasting live from backstage in the V.I.P./artist tent I immediately spotted hometown girl Brenda Kay, who was kind enough to let me approach her with a live microphone and interview her live on air.
Kay who was chilling out backstage after her performance said that she is working on a new C.D., she’s writing new songs, collaborating with other writers and expects to have the new project ready in a few months. Check out the Brenda Kay website regularly for updates. Besides Brenda Kay, I went on to interview Matt from Eleven Hundred Springs, Joe Ely, Billy Bean aka Tony Dry, Aubry Lynn England, Jerrod Medulla and Texas Regional Radio Report Publisher Dave Smith. I was really amazed at how approachable all the Texas Music artists were. In my opinion this was one awesome two day music festival, I can’t wait till next year.
