God bless the folks at Gosloving, for sharing these Vines of Ryan Gosling not eating his cereal with the world (they have more). They are so absurd. However, because they feature Ryan Gosling, they are also delightful. Our favorite is probably the one where he smacks the spoon onto the floor. Just like a kid would do! But it's not a kid, it's Ryan Gosling. Sigh.

Sammy Kershaw just released a brand new song in honor of the late George Jones. The song is called "The Route I Took (A Tibute To George Jones)" and he sounds so much like George Jones that it's kind of creepy. Kershaw has been busy in the Christian Country Music side of the business, while Kershaw may have been working on his latest Christian album he stayed in touch Jones, often collaborating on some music writing.
Ray Harryhausen, who pioneered the world of stop motion effects and changed visual effects in cinema forever, passed away today. He was 92 years old.
3 weeks ago My daughter Angie just started gymnastics classes, and with that comes the excitement of a 10 year-old little girl, wanting to show me every jump, twirl and leap. She has been online to check out other gymnasts. That's when Angie showed me this video. I couldn't believe my eyes that I watched it several times. Although this video is from the 2008 Junior European Championship games in Turin, I think it's worth watching.

(due to arrive in stores July 2, 2013.) Brad Paisley likes this group so much, that he put them on his "Beat This Summer Tour." The Henningsens are Brian Henningsen on bass guitar, vocals and the father of 10 including eldest son Aaron who covers guitar and vocals while daughter Clara takes lead vocals and plays guitar too.

Some of my favorite George Jones videos were when he was on television. Here's ten vintage video's of the late George Jones I think you'll get a kick out of. The last video is a real music video George had produced. Every time I see it it brings tears to my eyes.
Irish actor Cillian Murphy is gorgeous -- like, he-could-be-a-model gorgeous. But the prettiest thing about him has to be those eyes. We just can't help but get lost in them.
5 weeks ago A couple of nights ago I was watching Jimmy Kimmel Live on television and they were doing a bit called "Lie Witness News" where the reporter asks people what they think about bands that don't exist. I had never seen the skit before and thought it was hilarious. Then I got to thinking, "I wonder if they could get away with something like that here in the south." Check it out then you tell me what you think of "Lie Witness News".

A series of auctions with collectables from Texas and/or Red Dirt music artists will be up for grabs online. For example, on Monday Miranda Lambert auctioned off two autographed bottles of her wine from her collection.

Morgan Frazier is a musician and a songwriter from Breckenridge, Texas. Morgan has been 'seriously' working in the music business since she was nine years old. The spunky West Texas girl was a natural at singing her songs and selling her CD's. Anywhere there was a stage the 9 year old wowed strangers wherever she went. That was the training ground Morgan needed to hone her skills as she kept her eye on Nashville. Today Morgan Frazier is that girl, who made it in Nashville and has her own "Yellow Brick Road."
