Ray Stevens is at it again with his new song 'Red Hot Chili Cookoff.' It's pretty funny if you ask me, because I competed for many years in the Ben Richey Boys Ranch Chili Cookoff. Now as I recall, we were always being asked by visitors "is your chili hot?" And in my best Texas accent I would reply "Why of course it's hot, that's what it's supposed to be chili, hot!" It never failed though, those foreigners from far away places like Kansas, New York, or California would end up judging.
