Hometown Heroes – Hall of Heroes

Abilene is home to quite a few extraordinary men and women, many of whom serve (or have served) in the military and also those who are local first responders (police, firefighters, EMS). Townsquare Media is honored to be a part of this great community and would like to thank those who put their lives on the line each and every day.

Please, join us in honoring our Hometown Heroes by thanking them for their willingness to sacrifice their lives for the freedom we enjoy daily. Not only do these heroes put their lives on the line day in and day out, but they also sacrifice time with their families that we take for granted.

A Concrete Pump Truck Captured My Attention at the Outdoor and Home Expo

There was a lot of new and awesome things for everyone to see at this years Big Country Outdoor and Home Expo. It was the giant Concrete Pump Truck that captured my attention. John Benavidez was controlling the giant boom on the truck via a remote-control joy stick. I guess I never gave it much thought as to how concrete got pumped up to multistory buildings. Check out this video, I think it's pretty cool.

Watch These 10 Amazing Hacks That Make Parenting Easier

Why couldn't these videos have been around when I was raising my eight kids? Back then all I had was Parenting Magazine.
