The recent trailers for 'The Wolverine' have given us our first good look at one of the film's main villains, the Silver Samurai. Now, director James Mangold has unveiled a new poster spotlighting the character...and it's a bit cooler than you'd expect. Check it out below.
Perhaps the title was a pretty clear indication of what to expect, but 'Star Trek Into Darkness' looks a little bleak, huh? For a series that's been built on the concept of humanity standing together and bettering itself, it sure is odd to see the phrase "Earth will fall" in a newly released TV spot.
As bright as the future of 'Star Wars' might seem with its (at least) five new movies on the way, that future will always be dimmed by the cancellation of Cartoon Network's CGI epic 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars.' Admittedly, the series went through a meaty 5 seasons, but its unexpected shelving left a number of already-produced arcs on the cutting room floor, and a number of unanswered questions. Fortunately, you can get a new taste of one of the unreleased stories right now!
When Brett Ratner took over the 'X-Men' franchise from Bryan Singer, he was tasked with adding new mutants to the steady roster of actors who were in the previous two films. One was Ellen Page, who Singer has brought back for 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' to reprise her role as Kitty Pride. Page recently turned up on set, and Bryan Singer took a picture.
This Saturday is basically every geek's dream come true. Not only is it Free Comic Book Day (!!!!!!), it is also Star Wars Day. (Get it?? "May the fourth be with you.") Here are some of our favorite ways people have expressed their excitement over Star Wars Day, because if there's one thing geeks are good at, it's making stuff on a computer. Check it out.
To be honest, we haven't watched 'The Matrix' in probably 13 years, so we'd just like to thank this guy's mom for the refresher! Although we're pretty sure the dude's name is Morpheus, not Moshimo. Regardless, we're pretty sure this is a fairly accurate plot synopsis, and the accompanying animation keeps us from nodding off like we usually do when somebody tells us what a movie is about.
My son Nathan has been excited about Iron Man 3 for weeks. He's been watching the previous two movies over and over again on DVD in preparation. He stops everything he's doing to closely study the trailer for the new superhero movie. Needless to say, he's going to see the Robert Downey, Jr. flick on opening weekend. But, with all the hype and all the exposure this movie is getting, will it live up to its billing? I'd doubt it.
One of these people is Dan Aykroyd. 1992 was a weird time, guys. I'm glad we all got out okay.
The Toledo Mud Hens are going intergalactic this weekend. In honor of May 4th, an official 'Star Wars' celebration day ("May the Fourth be with you." Get it?), the Mud Hens will wear jerseys inspir
The cherry red 1964 Chevy made famous in the 1994 classic 'Pulp Fiction' is coming home to owner Quentin Tarantino. The ride was stolen from outside Tarantino's house back in 1995 and was recovered last week after the arrest of a suspected classic car thief.
'Forrest Gump' is a tale of a dim-witted but good-natured man who finds himself in the middle of many of the influential events of post-World War II America.
The 1994 film was a huge hit, earning close to 700 million at the box office and winning six Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
