This year marks the 31st annual Cinco de Mayo celebration in Abilene at St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church. Abilene's biggest Cinco de Mayo is the love and labor of the St. Vincent's parishioners. Pascual Mirelez owner of Mirelez Productions says "this is a family friendly event that features a softball tournament, dozens of food booths, bounce houses, children's games, bingo, adult games and lots of live music. The sad news of George Jones passing has affected so many in the music industry today. I too feel that sadness.
