‘Coats for Kids’ Drive to Help Abilene ISD Students Stay Warm

After personally witnessing a large number of students going to school without coats during this recent winter blast, I decided we need to help these kids out. I contacted Abilene ISD and was told they have a huge population of students that are needy and/or homeless and have no coats to wear during these harsh winter months.
