Chris Janson has revealed his plans for a second studio album. Everybody will be available on September 22 and include his single "Fix a Drink", plus the other four songs on the recently-released Fix a Drink EP.

The album title was inspired by those that influenced the songs on the new album: everybody. Janson says fans can expect real, relatable country songs. Everybody is the follow-up to his 2015 album Buy Me a Boat, which featured the platinum-selling title track and the Top 20 single "Holdin' Her."

Writer Ashley Gorley had a heavy influence on Janson during the making of his next studio album. In June he talked about how the hitmaker took him to songwriting school, teaching him new ways to think about songwriting.

"He brought out in me mostly melody, melodic structure," Janson says. "I’m a one-two punch kind of guy. I generally write in the same direction if I’m being just natural old me and not trying to hit any kind of mark, so to speak. I think everybody probably does; they write in their direction, but I got out of my lane big time with Ashley on several occasions now."

Look for Janson to play his newest single on the road this summer while on tour with Sam Hunt. The 15 in a 30 Tour stretches through late September. Maren Morris is also opening for the "Body Like a Backroad" singer.

In addition to the five songs on the Fix a Drink EP Janson confirmed that a song called "Out There" will also make the album. The track was sparked by a top-down Jeep ride with his family on a recently re-acquired piece of property where he filmed his "Fix a Drink" music video.
