While performing at a charity event on Oct. 24, Chris Janson used his time onstage to share a brand-new song. Readers can press play above to hear "Check."

"Check" is a feel-good song about being able to cross things off of life's bucket list. In the tune, Janson sings about some of the things he's accomplished so far: "Forty-acre lot with a big barn in the back / Check / Lighting up a Cuban on a pinewood deck / Check / Pay my dues sleeping in my truck bed / Check."

Janson was performing at Music Heals International's Music + Hope for Haiti charity event in Chicago, Ill., when he debuted "Check." According to Taste of Country, before playing the new song, Janson asked the fans at Joe's Live if they were open to hearing something new.

“You guys want to hear a brand-new song? This is one that has never been heard before," he told the crowd. "You guys will be the first to hear it. Want to hear it?”

Janson's most recent single is "Drunk Girl;" the song comes from his 2017 album Everybody.
