Some of my fondest memories from my childhood come from watching cartoons on an early Saturday morning. Not only were the cartoons awesome, but some of the most memorable commercials I've ever seen came from my early years.

Here are a few commercials from the '70s and '80s to jog your ol' memory bank.

  • Big Wheel

I had a Green Machine when I was a kid, but I always wanted a Big Wheel.

  • Oscar Meyer Bologna

The Oscar Meyer Bologna song is as much of a cult classic as Free Bird.

  • Life Cereal

I think all families had a member like Mikey that would eat just about anything.

  • Tootsie-Roll Pop

Exactly how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? Guess we'll never know.

  • Charmin

You couldn't go to the bathroom back in the day without uttering the phrase "don't squeeze the Charmin".

Mr. Whipple was a rock star in the toiletries world.
