There may be no bigger clutch player in the country than this scholastic stud who's not even living in the lower 48.

Daniel Hornbuckle, of West Valley High School, in Fairbanks, Alaska, hit a game-tying three-pointer in the closing seconds of his team's game against Colony High School, from Palmer, Alaska. That's great and all, but Hornbuckle upped it a notch or two when he stole the inbounds pass seconds later and fired up a game-winning, buzzer-beating bucket.

You very rarely see anything from Alaska not National Geographic or Life Below Zero-related, let alone something from the world of sports, so it's nice to see something so well-done on the court get its moment in the sun, which doesn't shine too much on the state this time of year.

Hornbuckle is familiar with playing in tight spots, having won consecutive state titles. We'll just have to wait and see if he can take his game to the next level.
