When you're in a military family, you spend many days and nights without loved ones because of deployment. Well, Master Sergeant Joseph Martel returned home from deployment, a month earlier than his son thought he was coming home.

To make a long story short, Martel was able to dress up as an opposing player on the team his son was playing in football. Midway through the game, the refs called players to the middle of the field for a meeting. At that point, the father removed his helmet so his son could see him and the tears flowed and rightfully so.

Watch this 50-yard reunion. Keep a tissue handy.

From all of us at Townsquare Media, I'd like to thank all of you who serve in the military, as well as the families who live their lives without their loved ones, just for our freedom and safety.
