In mid-December, Dierks Bentley performed in Las Vegas, Nev., and gave the fans in attendance at each of the two shows an early Christmas gift: new music. The new tracks are titled "Burning Man" and "Living," and readers can hear them here.

Bentley shared "Burning Man," which readers can watch above, during the first of his two Las Vegas shows, which took place at the Chelsea Theater at the Cosmopolitan. Lyrics include "Half your life, you struggle / Half your life, you fly / Half your life making trouble / Half your life making it right / One day, I’m the exception / Most days, l’m just like most / Some days, I’m headed in the right direction / And some days I ain’t even close ..."

"Living" made its way into Bentley's set during his second Chelsea Theater show. Prior to playing the new track, he explained, "I was thinking of everybody here, but definitely these hardcore, hardcore fans standing down here ... If I had to pick one song to give to you guys as a Christmas present, Hanukkah, or whatever you’re celebrating, this would be my gift to you."

Readers can press play above to hear "Living," which is about not taking life for granted and appreciating life for the gift that it is: "Some days, you just forget what all you've been given / Yeah, some days you just get by / Yeah, some days you’re just alive," Bentley sings. "But some days you’re living."

"[Me and the band, we] try to live every day," Bentley shared from stage. "No matter what we’re doing, we try to go out there and do something that makes us feel like we’re living. That’s how this song came about."

Bentley's newest album, Black, was released in May of 2016. He has not yet officially announced a new record or any plans for 2018, but began teasing something on social media on Tuesday (Jan. 2).
