Dierks Bentley certainly has a theme going for 2018: Following his announcement of his upcoming ninth studio album, The Mountain, and this year's Mountain High Tour in support of the new music, Bentley has now announced plans to curate his own music festival, in partnership with Live Nation, in Buena Vista, Colo., late this summer. Readers can press play above to watch a special video announcing the Seven Peaks Music Festival's 2018 lineup.

Miranda Lambert, Brothers Osborne, Elle King, Lanco, the Del McCoury Band, Sam Bush, the Cadillac Three and more country artists, to be revealed in the coming weeks, will join Bentley at the 8,000-feet-high festival destination for a three-day, multiple-stage party that, Bentley hints, will include its fair share of jam sessions and collaborations.

"Hope to have a lot of cross-pollination," the country star told Billboard, who exclusively broke news of the festival on Thursday morning (April 5). Bentley also added that he wants to make sure fans walk away remembering Seven Peaks as the best festival they've ever been to: "It's all about the experience, and I'm a little competitive," he explains. "I just want people to walk away feeling like there was so much thought put into each and every fan having the best experience their life."

In order to do that, Bentley will keep busy all weekend long: He plans to play every day of the festival, and when he's not onstage, he looks forward to just hanging out with the crowd.

"I don't plan on sleeping," Bentley adds. "I plan on either being onstage or in the campground, high-fiving people, handing out free beers."

Fans of Bentley know by now that the Arizona native feels connected to the Western landscape, so much so that he wrote and recorded much of his forthcoming album in Telluride, Colo.

"It's no secret that I love everything about Colorado," Bentley explains in a press release. "The fans, the venues we've played and, of course, the landscape. We are bringing it all together with this festival. It's our own 'field of dreams,' where we are putting everything we have into it, with no details overlooked, in hopes that it is the ultimate festival experience."

The Seven Peaks Music Festival is set to take on Labor Day weekend of 2018, Aug. 31-Sept. 2. Weekend passes go on sale on April 20 at 10AM MT, and will be available for purchase here. Festivalgoers will have an array of camping options, from full-sized RV accommodations to tent grounds. Learn more details here.
