A Nashville home once owned by Dolly Parton and husband Carl Dean is now up for sale.

According to Patch.com, Parton and Dean owned the 4,795 square-foot residence at 3146 Glenncliff Rd. in suburban Nashville from 1980 until 1996. The two-story, single family residence is currently on the market for $1.2 million, and while it's not the lavish mansion once might expect one of the biggest country stars of all time to have lived in, it's a beautiful home that's also a one-of-a-kind piece of country music history.

Built in 1941. the house features four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and the wooded, 2.4-acre property also features a detached storage building. Amenities in the stucco home also include an eat-in kitchen, carport, covered porch and patio, deck, a master bedroom with a walk-in closet, a great room large enough for plenty of games and entertainment and dual heating and cooling units.

In addition to being a home of historical significance, the residence is an established AirBnB that has served as a short-term rental for people visiting Music City. The property is currently listed with Donna Brewer at Action Homes in Nashville. For more information, check the property listing on the realtor's website to contact the agent.
