Hello Dolly! Can Comedian Myq Kaplan Tell the Difference Between Dolly Parton & Dalai Lama Tweets?

Twitter is a wonderful tool for a daily dose of nuttiness from your favorite celebs. Is there any other place to grab cooking tips from Bobby Flay and penis jokes from Rob Delaney? There is not. There isn’t, right?

Our Twitter feed is full of the wit, wisdom and insight from some of the most famous people walking the Earth. Sometimes though, if we don’t check the avatar, the tweets all seem to sound oddly similar.

Comedian Myq Kaplan stopped by the office to hang out, tell us about his new podcast, discuss his latest album ‘Meat Robot’ and BS about bunch of other random topics. Myq (pronounced “Mike”) was a 2010 ‘Last Comic Standing’ finalist and has appeared on ‘The Tonight Show’, ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’, ‘Comedy Central Presents’, ‘Conan’, and many other places.

We wanted to test Myq to see if he could tell the difference between the Twitter messages of two incredibly influential people with weirdly similar feeds — country music superstar Dolly Parton and spiritual superstar the Dalai Lama.

It’s a game we like to call: Hello Dolly!

Check out Myq’s website for more info on his latest album ‘Meat Robot’ and info about seeing him perform live.
