A patron is suing Dolly Parton's Dollywood theme park after, she claims, she was injured on a ride. The visitor claims negligence on behalf of the park, located in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., and is seeking more than $2 million in damages.

TMZ reports that a husband and wife are suing Dollywood because the mother of two allegedly suffered a compression fracture and other spinal injuries after riding an attraction at the theme park's Splash Country during the summer of 2017. Dollywood's website describes the ride, the RiverRush Water Coaster, as a one-of-a-kind attraction that "races through the trees four stories in the air as you experience four drops along 1,175 feet of track."

When the woman and her two daughters rode the RiverRush Water Coaster, the lawsuit alleges, she was "propelled off the seat, and she then fell down into the raft, striking her spine on the hard surface." TMZ reports that the woman heard a pop, felt a burning sensation and could not move or feel her legs. She says she was following the rules of the ride, as explained by Dollywood staff, and was not warned about the safety risks.

A spokesperson for Dollywood tells Taste of Country that they are "aware" of the lawsuit and its allegations, but that they do not comment on pending litigation. The park was previously sued in 2014, by Tedi and Derryl Brown, who claimed that Tedi was left with permanent brain damage and broken bones after falling from the Waltzing Swinger, a giant revolving swing ride.
