Women have been swooning over Matthew Fox for years, first while he was on ‘Party of Five’ and later during his run on ‘Lost.’ But according to his ‘Lost’ co-star, Dominic Monaghan, the ladies might want to rethink things…

Monaghan let the accusations fly on Sunday during a Q&A on Twitter to promote his new documentary series ‘Wild Things.’ One reader went off-topic and asked Monaghan to get Fox on Twitter, and, well, you can see for yourself what he had to say to that:

The allegations aren’t totally out of left-field. Last summer, Fox was accused of punching a female bus driver in Cleveland, Ohio, but prosecutors there declined to press charges. A civil suit was filed and is pending. In the past he’s also been accused of cheating on his wife with a stripper, and earlier this month he was busted for driving under the influence. Not exactly the kind of resume that should make a heart go pitter-patter, but the enduring popularity of Chris Brown is evidence that common sense isn’t always employed in matters of the heart.

But regardless, Monaghan’s Twitter conversation continued:

After Fox’s fans lambasted Monaghan for the “accusations,” he had a quick — and brutally honest — response for them too:

When the same two girls didn’t relent, he said in a later tweet, “It’s never okay. Maybe you have lower standards.” And after they said Fox should sue Monaghan for making the statements, he added this:

Boom.

No word from Fox’s camp on any of this yet, but we’re betting Monaghan won’t be getting a Christmas card this year.
