Don't Mess With Texas turns 30 years-old this year. Lone Star State officials are celebrating this milestone by releasing a group on new public service videos to promote the campaign.

The new videos include Lucas Nelson (whose video was released earlier this year), Groupo Fantasma, TXDOT Commissioner Jeff Austin III, Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush, NASCAR driver Austin Wayne Self and the above video by the Eli Young Band. These artists join the likes of superstars like: Stevie Ray Vaughn, Lyle Lovett, George Strait and Willie Nelson to list a few.

Texas Transportation Commissioner Jeff Austin III says "Don't Mess With Texas is not just some catchy slogan, it's an appeal to each and every Texan to do their part to help stop the litter problem in the Lone Star State."

500 million pieces of litter end up on the Texas highways and byways, costing Texas taxpayers a whopping $32 million dollars a year. The most common pieces of litter are food wrappers and cigarette butts. If you get caught littering in the Lone Star State, the fines start at $500.
