Easton Corbin is in the studio working on his fourth album. The singer revealed the exciting news through a photo posted to Twitter on Wednesday (May 9).

"In the studio for my new album!!" he writes as the caption on a photo of himself behind the sound board.

The album will be Corbin's follow-up to 2015's About to Get Real, which produced singles "Clockwork," "Baby Be My Love Song," "Yup" and "Are You with Me." His current single, "A Girl Like You," is out now.

Corbin was on the road with Carrie Underwood and the Swon Brothers for the better part of 2016, on her Storyteller Tour. The tourmates frequently shared their nights of fun with pranks and end of tour gifts via social media. Underwood shared a photo with Corbin, who gifted her with a beautiful portrait of Dolly Parton at the tour's end.

“Thanks, @eastoncorbin for being on this amazing tour. And thank you for this incredible gift! One of my favorite pics of one of my favorite artists ever!” she said. “It really has been a pleasure getting to work with you. You and your crew are so hard-working and sweet. Keep on being awesome, no matter where the road takes you next.”

Easton returned the thank you, writing back: “It’s been an honor to work with such an amazing artist on this incredible tour. I can’t say it enough, but thank you to you and your team for letting me be a part of this special journey, @carrieunderwood!"

His timeline for the new album is not clear.
