Taylor Swift and her tourmate Ed Sheeran are like two peas in a pod. They co-wrote the hit song 'Everything Has Changed,' share the 2013 Red Tour stage and hang out in their spare time. Now, they may share one more thing -- a taste for country music -- as Sheeran has admitted he's considered going country.

Although it's hard to picture the 22-year-old English singer-songwriter clad in a cowboy hat and boots, he told Yahoo! that country music is definitely on his radar. "Country music is some of the best-written music in the world, so yeah, one day, I would keep my mind open to doing a country record. … Hunter Hayes has some sick music," Sheeran spills. "There's so much good country music out there."

Known for catchy pop hits such as 'Lego House,' Sheeran may have been influenced by Swift, who is a country and pop crossover -- he would just be doing it in the opposite direction. Plus, it really would be fun to hear him collaborate with "sick" singer Hunter Hayes, as they both have flawless vocals and are skilled with the guitar.

Perhaps Sheeran will follow in the footsteps of now-country artists such as Jewel and Kelly Clarkson. With his connection to superstar Swift, he'd definitely start off on 'The A Team!'
