The Eli Young Band got it's start in Denton, Texas when a group of guys met while attending college at the University of North Texas. They have slowly and tirelessly built a fan base that has helped launch their career nationally.

The guys met in college and began singing and writing songs together then in 2002 they released their first album. I was self-titled and it wasn't long after that I first met them. They were doing their radio tour to promote the album. I've met them a couple of times over the years and from what I remember they have always been super nice guys with their heads on straight.

Touring heavily in Texas over the next few years they began to grow a fan base and sell out concerts. They released subsequent albums that eventually led to a Nashville record label deal and opened them up to a national audience.

In 2012 they received  a nominations from the ACM for single of the year, song of the year and top vocal group of the year. They walked away with an award for song of the year. Then they received Grammy nominations for best duo/group performance and best country song for 'Even if it Breaks Your Heart'.

2013 brought more accolades with a CMA nomination for vocal group of the year and a #1 hit for 'Drunk Last Night' the lead off single  from their album '10,000' which was released March of 2014.

These guys are hot right now and just keep growing. They have put in the blood, sweat and tears that it takes to make it in this business and now it's paying off. And to top it all off they are just super nice guys who deserve all the spotlight they can get.
