Emerson Drive Releases Successful New Single Despite Having No Record Label
Emerson Drive hit the Nashville music scene in 2002 and continued with hits and albums until 2009. Then they started having babies and slowing down a bit. A two year hiatus ensued and finally the guys are back with a new hit, new album and a fresh start minus the Nashville overload.
The band, who has played together since high-school, recently released their single "She's My Kind Of Crazy" to iTunes and already have over 200,000 downloads. They released the new album "Roll" to iTunes on Tuesday and have a video on YouTube with almost 500,000 hits. All of this mind you without the help of Nashville. They are doing this on their own, no rules, just good music.
The album has 11 tracks, mostly written by the band and co-produced by the band. Without the over site of a record label the guys were able to create an album that is totally "Emerson Drive".
