HBO plans to release a mixtape to promote the upcoming fourth-season premiere of the best show on TV, 'Game of Thrones.' And in a very un-Westeros-like move, the 10-song mix will include tracks by rappers Wale, Big Boi and Common.

'Catch the Throne: The Mixtape' will drop on Friday, almost a month before the show's fourth season premieres. It will be available as a free download here.

The hip-hop and reggaeton-spiced mixtape will feature exclusive cuts by Daddy Yankee, Snow Tha Product, Bodega Bamz and others. Best of all, the tracks are all inspired by "themes and storylines from seasons 1-3," according to the press release.

Additionally, samples from 'Game of Thrones'' soundtrack will be heard sprinkled throughout 'Catch the Throne.' Here's a breakdown of what you can expect, according to HBO: "theme song by Wale; Season 1 by Big Boi, Bodega Bamz and Magazeen; Season 2 by Daddy Yankee, Kilo Kish and Dominik Omega; and Season 3 by Common, Snow Tha Product and Dee Goodz."

Not sure if that helps any, or even if it makes much sense out of context. But if you ever wondered what Westeros would sound like if it was populated by a bunch of hip-hop heads instead of unbathed clans of warring families, this is your chance.
