Let’s be real: it sucks to be on Game of Thrones. Not matter what royal, or distinguished house you may count yourself among, all manner of terrible, insufferable misfortune will befall you and your family, whether or not you even want the Iron Throne. Case in point, try these three new Season 6 teasers on for size, as the Game of Thrones leaves every sigil in tatters.

HBO released three new teases of Game of Thrones Season 6, still lacking in any official footage (have an extra shot of Jaime Lannister while we’re at it), instead showing tattered banners for Houses Stark, Lannister and Targaryen. Neither of the three will be starting Season 6 on strong footing, but at least the the scenery looks nice!

Elsewhere of Game of Thrones Season 6, soon to be renewed for Seasons 7 and 8, screen legend Max von Sydow has been cast as the mysterious Three-Eyed Raven to a returning Bran, while Deadwood alum Ian McShane will also appear in a limited, mysterious role, joining Richard E. Grant and The Babadook star Essie Davis as theatre troup players, four notable actors as the Tarly family, Melanie Liburd as a new Red Priestess, and Borgen star Pilou Asbæk as fan-favorite Euron Greyjoy. Apart from a list of directors, Of Monsters and Men will put in a cameo, and story logistics seemingly confirm scenes set at The Wall next year, presumably to explain this giant spoiler.

We won’t have The Winds of Winter for any heads-up on the Game of Thrones Season 6 premiere, but check out additional teasers below, and stay tuned for April 24!
