Garth Brooks has announced his final North American World Tour stop: As expected, it will be in Nashville, Tenn.

Brooks and wife Trisha Yearwood -- his special guest at all World Tour stops -- will perform in Nashville, at Bridgestone Arena, on Dec. 9 at 7:30PM; Dec. 10 at 7:30PM; Dec. 15 at 7PM; Dec. 16 at 7:30PM; Dec. 17 at 7:30PM; Dec. 22 at 7PM; and Dec. 23 at 7:30PM. It will be Brooks' first stop at the venue in seven years, since his run of shows there to raise money for victims of Nashville's 2010 floods. (That set of nine shows, in fact, began on Dec. 16, 2010.) Brooks has, however, played other venues in Nashville in the years since.

Tickets for Brooks' Nashville World Tour stop will go on sale on Nov. 10 at 10AM CT, except for the Dec. 22 show, which will go on sale on Nov. 16 at 10AM CT; a limit of eight tickets per purchase will be in effect. Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster.com or by phone at 1-866-448-7849 or 1-800-745-3000. They will cost $58.25, plus a $5.98 tax, a $4.50 facility fee and a $6.25 service charge, for a total of $74.98.

2017's Country, Americana, Alt-Country, Bluegrass and Folk Tours

Brooks has sold more than 6 million tickets for his World Tour since it began in September of 2014. The singer had previously said that he would wrap up the North American leg of his World Tour this year, then look at touring overseas; however, he has announced plans to perform at the 2018 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and the 2018 Stagecoach Country Music Festival.

“I can tell you my retiring days are behind me ... The only thing that’s going to change after December is, it’s just not going to be a constant appearance. You’re going to have to pick ‘em …," Brooks says. "The great thing about the next year, 2018, is, we’re going to play some places for free. That’s what I like — just go for the reason of going there. And you get to play music. That’s cool.”

In March, Brooks released “Ask Me How I Know” as the second single from his newest studio album, Gunslinger. The song was written by Mitch Rossell and follows Brooks' first Gunslinger single, “Baby, Let’s Lay Down and Dance,” released in October of 2016. In November, Brooks will release the first part of a five-part anthology that will chronicle his country music career.
