Geico ‘Hump Day’ Camel Helps Turn Off Our Cell Phones in the Theater on ‘Movie Day’

The Geico ‘Hump Day’ commercial has turned into one of the biggest viral hits of the year. Now, what started as a cute 30 second TV commercial has made its way to the big screen. The Hump Day Camel is featured in a movie theater reminder to turn off cell phones before the film starts.

This ad is more entertaining than a lot of the movies I’ve gone to recently. And the talking camel isn’t the only one making the jump from the TV commercial to the movie screen. His silent coworker, Mike (a.k.a. MikeMikeMikeMikeMike) gets a speaking part as the guy talking on the phone as the movie is about to start. Watch and enjoy:

Who knew camels liked popcorn that much?
