Jake Owen has announced his 2018 tour plans: The singer's Life's Whatcha Make It Tour will kick off on May 18 in Chattanooga, Tenn., and travel to baseball stadiums around the country.

“I really do believe that life’s whatcha make it,” Owen says in a press release. “If you wake up feeling positive, there’s a pretty good chance that you’ll see things throughout the day in a positive light.

"I think concerts are like that: It’s what you make it. People show up to have a good time, and the artists on stage feel that, too," Owen adds. "A lot of my songs over the years have pointed to that idea."

Owen notes in the press release that he elected to play shows mostly on weekends, "when people are ready to get out, have a good time and don’t have to work the next day." He also adds that he's "so pumped" to be bringing Janson and Davis on tour with him.

"It’s going to be an awesome tour," Owen says. "I’m fired up.”

Owen released his Greatest Hits album last November; the disc features two new songs and was his final release with RCA Records. Owen recently signed with Big Loud Records and has new music coming soon.
