The James Barker Band’s Frontman Is Engaged!

Canadian country music artist James Barker, frontman of the James Barker Band, recently dropped to one knee and proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Stephanie Pratt. The singer revealed the news on Instagram on May 16.

Barker and Pratt's engagement announcement features two photos, both including their golden retriever Bobby: One picture shows the couple and the pup crouched down and smiling, while the other features Barker's hand, Pratt's hand (with the ring, of course!) and Bobby's paw.

"I found a wifer and made her my lifer!!!!!" Barker writes.

On her own Instagram account, Pratt posted, "No hug-ee no kiss-ee until I get a weddin' ring 💍. Thanks for swooping in & changing my world, love you (now officially) forever, @jamesbarkerman."

Barker and Pratt recently celebrated two years together.

Emerging from Woodville, Ontario, Canada, in 2013, the James Barker Band released their debut EP, Game On, in April. Comprised of Barker on lead vocals and guitar, Taylor Abram on backup vocals and guitar, Bobby Martin on bass and Connor Stephen on drums, the JBB are currently touring in Canada.
