When Kacey Musgraves released her independent self-titled CD in 2007, anybody who listened knew that the 18-year old singer/songwriter was destined for big things in country music. The only question remaining was, how long will it be before this east Texas native gets a major label offer?

The highly anticipated album from Kacey, entitled 'Same Trailer Different Park' goes on sale on March 19th, marking her Mercury Records debut.

The album's doesn't have an actual title-track. The name is pulled from the lyrics of its top 20 hit single, 'Merry Go 'Round'. Musgraves participated in writing every one of the tracks on 'Same Trailer Different Park.' As if that isn't enough, the multi-talented artist also co-produced the album.

Musgraves posted this statement on her official website:

"The making of this record was such a fun and meaningful time for me," said Musgraves. "As a writer, singer and producer I learned so much throughout the whole process. I am proud and excited to present a project alongside Shane McAnally and Luke Laird that came from a very real and inspired place in my brain and heart."

'Merry Go 'Round', the first single from 'Same Trailer Different Park' was released in September 2012 and has received plenty of critical acclaim. Rolling Stone named it one of the 50 top singles of the year, and the song made it into The Village Voice's influential Pazz & Jop critics poll. Also, National Public Radio named Musgraves the Best New Artist of 2012 based entirely on that one single.

But wait, there's more. The Academy of Country Music has Kacey nominated for Best New Female Vocalist. The ACM Awards will be announced April 7th. Musgraves is currently on the road with Little Big Town before heading out on one of the biggest concert tours of 2013 with Kenny Chesney this summer.
